We want you to enjoy your coffee. Because coffee is a perishable food, this policy explains when we replace or refund items and how membership cancellations work. It sits alongside your statutory consumer rights.
01Perishable food principle
Coffee is a consumable food product roasted to order. For food-safety and hygiene reasons, opened or partly consumed coffee generally cannot be returned or refunded unless there is a quality or safety issue. Unopened items and any transit damage or defect are prioritised for replacement or refund.
02When you are entitled to a refund or replacement
- —Your order arrives damaged, leaking or spoiled in transit.
- —You receive the wrong item, roast or format.
- —An item is faulty or not as described.
- —Your order does not arrive within a reasonable time and is confirmed lost by the carrier.
03How to make a claim
Contact support@islofarrcof.shop within 14 days of delivery with your order number and, for damage, a photo of the item and packaging. We will arrange a replacement or refund. We may ask you to return a faulty item; we cover return postage where the fault is ours.
04How refunds are issued
Approved refunds are made to your original payment method via our payment processor, normally within 5–10 business days of approval, in USD. Original shipping is refunded where the whole order is faulty or where required by law.
05Items that cannot be returned
- —Opened or partly used coffee, unless faulty or unsafe.
- —Products damaged by incorrect storage after delivery.
- —Gift cards or completed membership periods already used.
06Membership cancellations
You can cancel Roasters Club or Reserve at any time. Your membership continues until the end of the current paid period and is not pro-rated, and used current-period benefits are not refundable. Renewal stops from the next period.
07Customs, duties and refused parcels
Duties and import taxes charged by the destination country are the recipient's responsibility and are not refundable by us. If a parcel is returned to us because it was refused or unclaimed, we can refund the product value less shipping and any carrier charges.
